Jade Padgham, counsellor in Ballarat at Begonia Counselling & Support

Hello

I’m Jade, a counsellor who works with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, life challenges, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, recognising that people experience and process the world in different ways.

Alongside my professional training, I also bring lived experience as a parent and carer. This perspective has given me a deep understanding of the emotional demands that can come with long-term responsibility, particularly for parents and carers of neurodivergent children. It allows me to connect with clients in a way that is both practical and compassionate.

My Story

I hold a Master of Counselling and a Bachelor of Psychology, and I am a Professional Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). My counselling approach focuses on providing a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing and work towards practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges.

Many people come to counselling feeling overwhelmed by ongoing pressures, responsibilities, or difficult life circumstances. Counselling offers the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and develop ways of coping that support your emotional wellbeing.

Together, we work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on building understanding, strengthening resilience, and finding ways to move forward with greater clarity and balance.
